Who doesn't love a taco Tuesday?!? Parking sucks in this area, but there are usually spots that open up randomly and there is a lot if you're lucky. Staff is very friendly, the music/vibes are fun and welcoming, and the tacos are delicious! The prices are also fantastic. Food review: Complimentary beans: (5/5) BOMB. I asked for a second serving because it was so tasty! It's beans, peppers, onions, and bacon. I mixed some rice in mine (chef's kiss). Lavadita de coco: (5/5) Delicious! If you're a coconut lover, this is your drink. It's also super pretty! This costs 12. Tacos: (5/5) These street tacos are packed with flavor, meat, and such a good portion for the price. I ordered 3 and was so full. We tried the birria, carne asada, and adobada. Definitely recommend the adobada and carne asada! The meat was flavorful and tender! I think they're about 3.70/taco. Churros and ice cream: (2/5) Wasn't what I was expecting and the flavors were just off. Too much strawberry or whatever the red sauce was on the churros. Wouldn't order this again. Overall, definitely recommend this spot for a taco Tuesday!

Every since I saw a picture a friend took of the food she was eating here, I wanted to try this place. I finally got the chance the other day. The food was really good and plentiful, and the service was outstanding. All of the folks who waited on us were pleasant to deal with and responsive to our requests. Our experience started with complimentary chips and salsa and a surprise small cup of hot bean soup, which was delicious. The chips tasted a little commercial, not bad by any means, just a tinge of Tostitos flavor. The menu is extensive to say the least but well organized making the experience less intimidating. Our meals arrived, just before we filled up on chips and salsa, and they looked great and were substantial in amount. I had the Beef Rolled Tacos with rice and beans, one friend had the Chimichanga and the other the Carnitas plate. The rolled tacos were big. I knew immediately I would not even get close to finishing them and I didn't. I enjoyably ate only two. The other three I took home and were my main meal the next day. BTW I weighed those three rolled tacos, and they weighed 13oz. WOW! There was one chimichanga left and that was gifted to me, which I humbly accepted. After eating it as a snack the next day, I could see why my friend couldn't eat all four of them. He mentioned that he could barely finish three of them. The Carnitas taco plate was much to my compadres liking and way too much for him to finish, something he mentioned more than once. One must realize this Los Panchos is located on a VERY busy intersection yet the only time I noticed it was when an ambulance, sirens at full blast (happened twice in the 1.5 hrs there), rushed by. Parking is tough but there is a small parking lot just to the west. And if you're lucky they'll be space, otherwise it's on the street.

Stop here to eat on (2) different occasions between 2 years. The first time a couple of years ago, had the Mexican breakfast w/Mexican coffee - most scrumptious!! 2nd time was a week ago & I had the street style tacos (pork, beef & chicken) - again, most scrumptious!! Service most excellent! & of course I had my Mexican coffee I don't always go downtown San Diego but when I do, this is the place. Most grateful for the food, service & the atmosphere. Good people here.

Great spot! The service is always very friendly, it's usually pretty chill but on Fridays and Saturdays there's sometimes a dj and it gets a little more lively. Food is very tasty with large portions and they have good happy hour and taco Tuesday deals.

I had the Taco Trio. Personally I don't like to eat fat and one taco was pretty much all fat. The Carne asada taco was good. The 3rd taco was not bad, just not something I prefer. I know lots of people who would love both tacos that I did not. Rolled tacos & Surf N Turf & Sampler were all good. The cup of beans with the salsas & chips were delicious. Service was great.

Music seemed a little loud at first but we quickly got used to it. Place is really nice. Service was great, and so was the food. Parking is horrible though. We went early enough that we able to park in one of the 8 spots in the lot
